Our Keyne-O local orienteering event series offers something for everyone — from complete beginners to experienced orienteers. You can do your course either on your own or in a group of family and friends, and you set your own pace.
The last in this year’s series of Keyne-O events explores the historic woodland area of Linford Wood, with the two longer courses also venturing into neighbouring estates for a partly urban challenge.
Our volunteer club members will be on hand to help you with the map before you set off and check you in when you finish.
| Amble | 3km | Very straightforward. Suitable for complete novices, whatever their level of fitness. Suitable for unaccompanied under 16s. |
| Trot | 5km | Suitable both for fit adult beginners and those with a little experience who want to go a bit further. Also good for more experienced orienteers who want a run or walk that is not too demanding. Includes some road crossings and is not suitable for participants aged under 16 on the day of the event, unless accompanied by a responsible adult. |
| Run | 7km | A longer course that is an extensive tour of the area, only suitable for fit and reasonably experienced orienteers. Includes road crossings and is not suitable for participants aged under 16 on day of event, unless accompanied by a responsible adult. |
Course lengths given are approximately the shortest practicable distance, not the straight-line distance between controls.
