The nice weather certainly brought out the crowds and made it a lovely day for a walk in the woods. Linford Wood is big enough for the shorter courses to stay in the wood and interesting enough to support a 'Tricky' course for the more experienced. It's a pity you couldn't all visit the concrete cows but we will run an event in Loughton Valley Park if we can find a place for everyone to park. Finally a thanks to all the club members who rallied round to show the novices how it should be done.
If you enjoyed this event then why not come along to our next event on 16th March at Willen (the Peace Pagoda Car Park). Details will be on our events page soon.
If you are new to orienteering it is free to join SMOC as a Local member for the first year. Download a membership form here.
