SMOC is a friendly club and has about 100 members. Our membership base extends throughout Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire. SMOC is affiliated to the East Anglian Orienteering Association, the regional body which co-ordinates the sport in East Anglia and the British Orienteering, the national body, which co-ordinates activities within the UK and represents the sport on the world stage.

Joining SMOC

If you would like to join SMOC, the simplest way is to go to the British Orienteering website and join online. Alternatively you can download a Membership Form and post it to British Orienteering. You can also pay by direct debit.

Membership fees for 2013

There are two levels of membership:

Senior any member aged 21 or older on 31 December of the membership year £10
Junior any member aged 20 or younger on 31 December of the membership year £2

Families can continue to join/renew as a ‘Family’ but the membership fee will be made up of the sum parts. E.g. A family containing two senior and one junior members will be charged £22 (2 Senior members at £10 plus 1 Junior member at £2).
